Tajik Chief of General staff meets General Sahir Shamshad, Agrees to boost defense cooperation
Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, held a meeting with the Chief of General Staff of Tajikistan during his visit to Pakistan. The two military leaders discussed regional security issues and agreed to enhance bilateral defense cooperation.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting involved an exchange of views on matters of mutual interest, particularly focusing on strengthening military collaboration between Pakistan and Tajikistan.
The visiting Tajik General appreciated the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and paid tribute to their sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.
Upon arrival at the Joint Staff Headquarters, the Tajik General was presented with a guard of honour.
