Karachi: In a candid revelation, Pakistani showbiz actress Maryam Nafees has shared startling details about her past, disclosing multiple encounters with what she describes as supernatural entities (jinns). These experiences, she admits, left a lasting mark of fear that persists to this day.
Speaking on a private television program, Maryam recounted that a few years ago, she witnessed these beings in the form of shadows or smoke on three to four separate occasions. “Those sights filled me with a fear that lingered for many months,” she explained, emphasizing that even now, the memory can make her uneasy.
She gravely detailed the aftermath of these incidents, stating that for six to seven months, she constantly felt a presence around her and remained deeply troubled. The lingering anxiety is such that even currently, residing alone in Karachi, she still gets startled if her husband, Amaan, suddenly enters a room.
It’s worth noting that Maryam Nafees and her husband, Amaan, recently celebrated the birth of their son. While Maryam has not appeared in any projects since her son’s arrival, she remains hopeful and is eagerly looking forward to her return to the screen soon.
