Shawn Mendes and Bruna Marquezine share affectionate moments during Carnaval in Brazil
The couple spent Valentine’s Day side by side during one of the country’s largest annual celebrations
Shawn Mendes and Bruna Marquezine were seen together at Carnaval in Brazil on 14 February, spending Valentine’s Day side by side during one of the country’s largest annual celebrations.
The pair appeared affectionate as they attended festivities on Saturday, staying close and embracing throughout the event. They were also spotted aboard Brazilian singer Ivete Sangalo’s trio elétrico, a moving float equipped with a powerful sound system that plays a central role in Carnaval street performances.
Mendes wore a tank top, black trousers and sunglasses, appearing relaxed as he moved through the crowds. Marquezine opted for a bedazzled top with her hair pulled back into a ponytail, also completing her look with sunglasses. Witnesses observed the couple hugging and whispering to one another during the celebrations.
Their joint appearance at Carnaval follows a series of sightings in Brazil in recent months. Earlier in February, they were photographed together at an airport in Rio de Janeiro. On New Year’s Eve, the singer and actress were seen in São Miguel dos Milagres, on the northern coast of Alagoas, where they celebrated the start of 2026.
Images shared online from the beachside getaway showed the pair embracing and spending time with friends. During the trip, they were seen taking part in local traditions, including jumping seven waves, a custom believed to bring good luck for the year ahead. Mendes was also captured blowing a kiss towards Marquezine during a beach volleyball game.
Throughout 2025, the two were spotted together at concerts and social events in Brazil, including appearances in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
