Security forces have killed 13 militants in two separate intelligence-based operations in the province, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The first operation was conducted in the Bara area of Khyber district, where 10 militants were killed during an intelligence-based raid. In a second operation in Bannu, security forces eliminated three more militants.
According to the ISPR, these actions are part of ongoing efforts under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” campaign, aimed at intensifying counterterrorism operations across the country.
Security forces, along with law enforcement agencies, reiterated their commitment to eradicating terrorism, particularly threats linked to external support.
A follow-up sanitization operation is currently underway in the affected areas to locate and eliminate any remaining militants.
