Academic year will commence on April 1, 2026.
Summer and winter holidays have been approved for educational institutions across Sindh.
According to the decision, summer vacations will be observed from June 1 to July 31, 2026, while winter holidays will be held from December 21 to December 31, 2026.
The approval was granted during a steering committee meeting of the Sindh Education Ministry, which was chaired by Sindh Education Minister Sardar Ali Shah.
In addition to the holiday schedule, the ministry also officially approved the academic calendar for the 2026–27 school year. The calendar outlines the commencement of the new academic session as well as the examination schedule for the upcoming year.
Academic Year
Furthermore, the academic year will commence on April 1, 2026. Admissions for grades 9 and below will be open from March 1 to March 31, 2026.
Examinations Schedule
Examinations for grades 9 and 10 will be held from March 30 to April 15, 2026. The grade 10 results will be announced on June 1, while grade 9 results will be declared on June 15, 2026.
Admissions for grade 11 under the Central Admission Policy will begin on June 1 and continue until the last week of July 2026. Meanwhile, exams for grades 11 and 12 will take place from April 15 to April 30, 2026. The grade 12 results will be announced on June 15, followed by the grade 11 results on July 1, 2026.
To simplify the academic process, students in grades 1 to 3 will be promoted to the next class without examinations. Exams for grades 4 to 8 will be conducted between March 1 and March 15, 2026.
