US TV host Savannah Guthrie has shared her major plan with colleagues of the Today show as she paid a surprise visit to the studio.
The US TV show shared a photo of the co-anchor with statement of Savannah.
It says, “Savannah Guthrie has told her colleagues in person that she plans on returning to TODAY.”
On March 5, Savannah paid a visit to Studio 1A in Rockefeller Center to express her gratitude for all the support shown to her family since the disappearance of her mother, Nancy.
The co-anchor thanked TODAY staff and crew for all of the love, prayers and support, and for “caring about my mom as much as I do.”
Savannah said, “I wanted you to know that I’m still standing, and I still have hope, and I’m still me,” adding “And I don’t know what version of me that will be, but it will be.”
“I’m holding onto my faith,” the co-host continued. “I still believe. And as my mom would say, ‘Where else would I go?’”
Savannah also confirmed that she plans on returning to the show at some point, however, there is no specific date for when she will be back on the air.
She tells her colleagues, “I have every intention of coming back. I don’t know how to come back, but I don’t know how not to. You’re my family. And I would like to try.”
Savannah then hugged everyone in the studio.
