In a statement released on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs conveyed its serious concern regarding the American strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities. The statement reaffirmed the Kingdom’s position from June 13, 2025, in which it condemned the violation of Iran’s sovereignty.
The Ministry stressed the importance of all parties exercising restraint, reducing tensions, and doing everything possible to prevent further escalation. It also urged the international community to intensify diplomatic efforts during this highly sensitive period to reach a political resolution — one that could end the current crisis and open a path toward long-term regional security and stability.
It is noteworthy that the United States recently launched coordinated attacks on Iran’s nuclear sites. President Trump, in a post on the social media platform Truth Social, confirmed that the U.S. had carried out successful strikes on three Iranian nuclear installations. He claimed that the Fordow facility was completely destroyed, adding that Natanz and Isfahan were also targeted, and that American aircraft had exited Iranian airspace safely.
