 Salman Ali Agha eyes clean sweep against West Indies

Lahore: Pakistan’s T20 cricket team captain, Salman Ali Agha, has described the West Indies as a formidable opponent ahead of their upcoming series.

Speaking to the media, Salman Ali Agha stated that the series against the West Indies will not be easy, and the team will need to deliver strong performances in every department to secure victory. He added that Pakistan will enter the field with excellent planning and make every effort to win all the matches.

Salman Ali Agha mentioned that the weather in the USA is hot, and the team has conducted extensive training sessions, focusing particularly on power hitting.

He highlighted the importance of the series against the West Indies in light of the upcoming Asia Cup and World Cup, noting that the hosts’ batting in T20s is quite aggressive, but Pakistan has prepared well. The T20 captain expressed his pleasure over the return of Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Hasan Ali, stating that their inclusion creates a good blend of senior and junior players.

The three-match T20 series between Pakistan and West Indies is set to commence on Friday at 5:00 AM Pakistan time.
