‘RHOBH’ star Rachel Zoe’s son makes shocking confession about life without dad Rodger Berman

Rachel Zoe recently shared her youngest son’s perspective on life, especially without the presence of his father, Rodger Berman.

The renowned American fashion designer, author, and businesswoman tied the knot with Berman in 1996 and welcomed two sons, 14-year-old Skyler and 12-year-old Kaius.

In July 2025, Zoe filed for divorce after almost 3 decades of their marriage because she had started to disagree “on what certain outcomes should be” as well as begin “to question decisions”

On the Thursday, March 5 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the mother of two asked her sons about life without Berman, “I guess my questions, how does it feel in general? Like, over the last year. Do you feel like this is better than before? Worse than before? Different than before?”

In a quick and short way, Kaius said it was the “same but different.”

However, Kaius has a different answer than his elder brother. He said, “He wasn’t really here a lot anyway. But now, he’s just completely gone. There’s not really a trace of him.”

Zoe went on to ask Skyler about the energy in the house after her separation from him, to which he replied, “It feels a bit more peaceful.”

She and Kaius already had a detailed discussion about her relationship with Rodger and “sadly” the boy was “mad” at her for “letting me be treated the way that I was. Because that means I’m not modeling well for what they think love and marriage and relationships should look like or feel like.”

“More importantly, how they should talk to someone they love,” Zoe noted.
