Rawalpindi metro bus timings changed

Pakistan currently has enough petroleum supplies, says official.

The Rawalpindi Metro Bus Service has reduced its operating hours as part of the government’s energy conservation plan. According to the new schedule, one hour has been cut from the night operations of the metro bus.

Under the revised timing, the metro bus service will now close at 9:00 pm. However, the metro stations will remain open until 9:40 pm. The last bus from both Rawalpindi and Islamabad will leave at 9:00 pm.

Officials said this decision has been taken as part of wider measures introduced by the government to save energy and reduce fuel consumption. Authorities also mentioned that the global fuel situation is becoming difficult, with many countries facing shortages and long queues at petrol stations.

At the same time, officials have said that Pakistan currently has enough petroleum supplies and the situation in the country remains under control.
