PSX close on a negative note, by falling 463 points

Karachi: On the fourth day of the trading week, the market experienced a decline, with the index falling by 463 points.

The Karachi 100 Index closed at 120,002 points.

Trade volume reached approximately 6 billion shares valued at around 20 billion PKR. The highest level during the day was 121,745 points, while the lowest was 119,770 points.

A total of 459 companies traded shares today, with 155 seeing price increases and 269 experiencing declines. Key sectors such as cement, commercial banking, fertilizers, and pharmaceuticals faced selling pressure.

Yesterday, the 100 index closed at 120,465 points, down by 1,505 points.
