
Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has paid a profound tribute to Captain Muhammad Sarwar Shaheed (Nishan-e-Haider) on his 77th martyrdom anniversary.
“Seventy-seven years ago today, Captain Muhammad Sarwar Shaheed sacrificed his life for the homeland in the First Kashmir War,” stated President Zardari. He emphasized the nation’s immense pride in Captain Muhammad Sarwar Shaheed’s “courage, steadfastness, and great sacrifice.”
President Zardari further remarked that “today’s secure Pakistan is the result of the great sacrifices of our heroes.” He affirmed that “the entire nation salutes Captain Muhammad Sarwar Shaheed’s bravery and sacrifice.”
The President highlighted that Captain Sarwar “wrote an unforgettable chapter of national defense by laying down his life,” asserting that “the sacrifices of martyrs are the foundation of national defense and stability.”
President Zardari concluded by stating that “the nation will always remember Captain Muhammad Sarwar Shaheed’s sacrifice.”
