PIA to resume direct Lahore-London flights

Total weekly flights to the UK will increase to seven, with plans for further expansion

LAHORE:

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) announced it will resume direct flights to London starting March 29 from Islamabad and March 30 from Lahore.

Initially, PIA will operate four weekly flights three from Islamabad and one from Lahore — using Boeing 777 aircraft.

PIA spokesperson said flights would land at Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 4, adding that the airline has a more than 70-year history on the London route, which was among its earliest international destinations.

With the resumption, total weekly flights to the UK will increase to seven, with plans for further expansion.
