
LAHORE: Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, extended heartfelt congratulations to former national women’s team captain Sana Mir on her induction into the ICC Hall of Fame.
“Well done, Sana Mir! You have brought great pride to the nation. You are truly the daughter of Pakistan,” said the PCB Chairman.
Mohsin Naqvi lauded her for raising the green crescent flag high on the international stage, adding, “Sana Mir has illuminated Pakistan’s name with honor through her dedication and achievements.”
He further stated that Sana Mir is a national asset and a role model for aspiring women cricketers in Pakistan.
“Sana Mir dreamed big, worked hard, and made history” remarked the PCB Chairman. He affirmed that “Sana Mir’s honor is a source of immense pride for Pakistan.”
“Sana Mir’s achievement boosts the morale of every daughter of our nation,” Naqvi continued, highlighting that she achieved this feat through “hard work, dedication, and continuous struggle, elevating the name of the Pakistani nation.”
Concluding his remarks, Naqvi stated, “This success belongs to Sana Mir, as well as to Pakistan women’s cricket and Pakistan as a whole.”
He expressed optimism for the future, saying, “Today, one Sana Mir has received this honor. Insha’Allah, the day is not far when numerous Pakistani women cricketers will achieve this distinction.
