ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) has received Rs21.741 million in recent times, claimed Pakistan Sports Board (PSB).

PSB released a special grant of 13.602 million to the Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association during the fiscal year 2023–24. This clearly demonstrates the government’s serious commitment to promote snooker and supporting the participation of Pakistan players at international platforms.

Prior to this, PSB had provided Rs5.462 million in financial support to PBSA in the fiscal year 2022–23, enabling the association to participate in multiple national and international events.

Similarly, in the fiscal year 2021–22, PBSA received a grant of Rs2.677 million from PSB, reflecting the Board’s ongoing policy of addressing the needs of all sports federations based on their performance and planning.

In total, over the past three years, PBSA has received Rs21.741 million in financial assistance from PSB — concrete proof that the Sports Board has consistently supported snooker and the international representation of its athletes.
