Pakistan’s Foreign Office spokesperson rejected the Indian Foreign Ministry’s remarks, calling them ‘childish’ allegations

Pakistan’s Foreign Office spokesperson has strongly rejected the Indian Ministry of External Affairs’ latest remarks, calling them “childish” and baseless. In a statement on Monday, the Foreign Office said India’s comments are yet another example of twisting facts and quoting statements out of context.

The spokesperson described India’s claims of “nuclear blackmail” as misleading and self-serving, stressing that Pakistan remains committed to opposing the use or threat of force. “Whenever India’s war hysteria is countered, it responds with irrational and baseless accusations,” the spokesperson said.

The Foreign Office reiterated that Pakistan is a responsible nuclear state with its nuclear command and control structure under complete civilian authority. Pakistan has always shown restraint in dealing with such sensitive matters, the statement added.

The spokesperson also said that the world recognises Pakistan’s counterterrorism efforts and that its security forces serve as a strong shield against terrorism. Indian allegations, the FO said, are devoid of facts and evidence.

Rejecting India’s attempt to unnecessarily involve third countries, the FO called it a sign of New Delhi’s diplomatic weakness. The spokesperson said, “Pakistan will continue to act as a responsible state,” and warned that any Indian aggression will trigger an immediate and strong response. The FO stated clearly that India’s leadership will bear full responsibility for any escalation.
