Pakistan win toss, bowl first against Sri Lanka in T20 tri-series match


Pakistan won the toss and chose to bowl first in the Twenty20 International tri-series match against Sri Lanka at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Thursday.
Pakistan, riding a wave of dominant home performances, have stitched together three consecutive wins to secure their place in the final. Sri Lanka, meanwhile, face a must-win encounter to keep their campaign alive.
With qualification already assured, Pakistan have continued to rest pace duo Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah as Mohammad Wasim and Salman Mirza get more game time.
The fixture also provides the team management another chance to fine-tune their combinations and bolster the confidence of emerging talent ahead of the T20 World Cup.
