Pakistan has strongly condemned Israel’s announcement to recognize the so-called Somaliland, rejecting any attempt to undermine Somalia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
According to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan has reaffirmed its full support for Somalia and categorically rejected all illegal and provocative actions that threaten the country’s unity. The spokesperson said such steps constitute a clear violation of international law and pose a serious threat to peace and stability in Somalia and the wider region.
The spokesperson also reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent State of Palestine.
Pakistan has called upon the international community to reject any actions aimed at undermining Somalia’s unity and to play its role in ensuring peace and stability in the region.
