Pakistan sees highest company registrations in July 2025

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan’s business scene just hit a big milestone. In July 2025, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) registered 4,065 new companies, the highest number ever recorded in a single month. This even broke the previous record set just two months ago in May.

Most of these companies were registered online, showing that Pakistan’s business environment is quickly going digital. With this, the total number of registered companies in the country has now crossed 262,000.

A huge portion of these new businesses came from the IT and e-commerce sectors, followed by trading, services, and real estate. This shows where the future of business in Pakistan is headed toward tech, trade, and growth.

Foreign investors are also showing more interest. July saw 96 new companies backed by international investors, a sign of growing global confidence in Pakistan’s business market.

The SECP also issued 60 new licenses in different sectors, helping businesses get access to capital markets, insurance, and finance.

To keep the momentum going, the SECP has launched an awareness campaign to educate entrepreneurs about the benefits of registering companies, such as legal protection, easier access to loans, better branding, and long-term business stability.

In short, July 2025 has proven to be a breakthrough month for Pakistan’s economy, full of promise, progress, and potential.
