A private family funeral will also take place later, but the procession will give an opportunity to his fans to pay respect to the metal monarch.

The route the procession will reportedly take includes Broad Street to Black Sabbath Bridge and Bench.

The grieving fans have already laid down flowers and held the vigils for him at these spots since his passing.

This will also enable his wife Sharon Osbourne and his children witness how his fans have paid tribute and carried out floral display in mourning and sorrow.

It has been expected that fans in thousands will be out on the street to pay their final respects to the 76-year-old.

Therefore, the particular road will be kept close for traffic from 7am tomorrow.

Even a live stream will be going on with which the fans will be able to check the position of the cortege in real time.

The council chiefs revealed their input in making this public procession a possibility.

Birmingham’s The Lord Mayor of Zafar Iqbal said: “Ozzy was more than a music legend – he was a son of Birmingham.”

“It was important to the city that we support a fitting, dignified tribute ahead of a private family funeral. We know how much this moment will mean to his fans.”

“We’re going to pay our last respects and homage to one of the greatest living legends of Birmingham.”

Moreover, the brass band of the city Bostin’ Brass will be there with the cortege.

For the unversed, Ozzy had expressed his desire for his funeral to be a celebration of life rather than it be a somber occasion.
