Owner of luxury game reserve killed by elephant in rare incident

A 39-year-old millionaire owner of a South African game reserve has tragically died after being trampled by an elephant within his own private reserve.

According to foreign media reports, FC Conradi, the owner of the luxurious Gondwana Private Game Reserve in Mossel Bay, Western Cape, South Africa, was reportedly engaged in some work within the reserve when a male elephant suddenly attacked him. The elephant then proceeded to crush Conradi, inflicting fatal injuries.

Upon receiving news of the attack, administration and rescue teams swiftly arrived at the scene. Conradi was immediately rushed to the hospital for medical attention, while the elephant had already fled the area.

Media reports confirm that, tragically, the millionaire succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by doctors at the hospital. This unfortunate incident highlights the inherent risks involved in managing wildlife in natural reserves.
