
LAHORE: Railway services were disrupted on Monday after the Musa Pak Express derailed at Raiwind Railway Station, leaving four injured.
According to railway officials, the train’s engine and two carriages derailed, leaving four people injured. The incident is said to have been caused by brake failure.
Following the derailment, train operations on the affected track were suspended. Authorities have launched an inquiry into the incident.
Earlier, A blast occurred on the railway track near Spezand in the Mastung district as the Jaffar Express was passing through the area.
According to railway officials, the train had departed from Quetta for Peshawar at 9 a.m. when the explosion took place. The extent of the damage and any possible casualties were not immediately known.
Authorities have cordoned off the site and launched an investigation into the incident.
