More Monsoon Rain Likely in Pakistan from August 4 to 7

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted rain in several cities from August 4 to August 7, with monsoon activity expected to get stronger during this time.

The Met Office says that starting Monday, areas like Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiyat, and nearby regions are likely to see rain along with strong winds and thunderstorms. Similar weather may occur in other parts of the country as well.

Officials have warned that the intensity of the monsoon is expected to increase from August 4, which could lead to flash flooding in streams and drains, especially in Rawalpindi and other vulnerable cities between August 5 and 7.

Authorities have urged people living in risk-prone areas to stay alert and take all necessary safety measures.
