
Mohsin Naqvi meets Iranian Interior Minister, vows to strengthen bilateral relations
Pakistan’s Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi arrived in Tehran on an official visit, where he was warmly received at Imam Khomeini International Airport by Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni.
At Imam Khomeini International Airport, Iran’s Interior Minister Iskandar Momeni was present to receive him. Senior officials from Iran’s Interior Ministry and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Iran, Muhammad Mudassir Tipu, were also present on this occasion.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with his Iranian counterpart in which they exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and Pakistan-Iran relations.
Iskandar Momeni said that he warmly welcomes his brother to Iran from the depths of his heart. He added that this visit will certainly help strengthen Pakistan-Iran relations.
The Federal Interior Minister said that Iran is our brotherly neighboring country and that Pakistan gives special importance to bilateral relations.
He expressed hope that the Pakistan-Iran-Iraq trilateral conference will help resolve the issues faced by pilgrims.
Mohsin Naqvi also conveyed his best wishes for Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and President Masoud Pezeshkian.
