Actors’ daughter Maya Hawke and singer-songwriter Christian Lee Hutson got married in a surprise Valentine’s Day ceremony on February 14, surrounded by family and close friends, according to People.
Maya’s parents, actors Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, were present, along with her brother Levon Roan Thurman-Hawke.
Several of her Stranger Things co-stars also attended, including Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, and Joe Keery.
Maya Hawke wore a white wedding dress paired with an oversized feathery winter coat. Hutson chose a traditional tuxedo. Thurman opted for a light blue gown, while Ethan Hawke wore an all-black ensemble.
Maya Hawke and Hutson first connected while collaborating on music several years ago. Hutson opened for Phoebe Bridgers on tour from 2022–2023 and contributed to Hawke’s 2024 album, Chaos Angel.
Hutson had publicly confirmed their engagement in March 2025, and Maya was later spotted wearing a diamond ring in Manhattan in April 2025.
The couple also made their red carpet debut together that same month at the opening night of John Proctor Is the Villain in New York City.
The wedding was a private affair, blending music and Hollywood connections, making it a memorable Valentine’s Day celebration for the couple and their loved ones.
