Manon Bannerman of KATSEYE has given out her fans a subtle but meaningful hint amid her ongoing break from KATSEYE, which began in February 2026.
The singer recently shared a message, reportedly posted to the fan platform Weverse, thanking fans for their continued support during her time away.
“Thank you so much for all the love and support you’ve been sending my way,” Bannerman wrote.
The singer continued, “I’m really grateful for the patience and kindness everyone has shown during this time. HxG and I are having positive conversations and I feel supported. I’m happy and I’m healthy. I’ll share more soon. Thank you for always being there for me.”
Around the same time, fans noticed that Bannerman had updated her Instagram bio and removed any association to KATSEYE.
It just reads, “mademoiselle manzanita.”
This major update comes after KATSEYE is gearing up for the release of their new single, Pinky Up! for which they dropped the first teaser, marking their first release since Bannerman’s hiatus.
As PEOPLE magazine previously reported, Bannerman’s hiatus was first announced on Feburary 20 in a statement shared on the group’s official X account.
“Hello. After open and thoughtful conversations together, we are sharing that Manon will be taking a temporary hiatus from group activities to focus on her health and wellbeing,” the statement read.
“We fully support this decision. KATSEYE remains committed to showing up for one another and for the fans who mean everything to us. The group will continue scheduled activities during this time, and we look forward to being together again when the time is right,” it concluded.
Aparrt from Manon Bannerman, KATSEYE, the six-member group, also includes Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, Sophia Laforteza and Yoonchae.
