Louis Tomlinson has entered a new era with more confidence, at least, that’s what his fans are saying.
The former One Direction star dropped the music video for his latest single, Lemonade, and it’s truly a wild ride.
The wacky video, released Monday, October 13, opens with the 33-year-old singer leaning against a car as an annoying photographer pesters around him.
Under the scorching sun, he leaves the scene, gets into a car, and falls asleep, only to wake up inside a fever dream, surrounded by people in full-body yellow suits.
Together with the mysterious group the Night Changes vocalist then watches a sock puppet opening a lemonade stand and frolics around a lemon farm, before the yellow-clad figures started to tease him.
Parched, the X Factor alum runs into a house searching for water, only to find the taps dry and his only option is to dive into a swimming pool.
“She’s so bitter, she’s so sweet/ Lemonade, lemonade,” he sings in the background as he captures his fans’ hearts with the dive. “A little taste is all I need/ Lemonade, lemonade.”
His admirers were quick to gush over the video and the new direction Louis has opted for his new album.
“I think I’ve never seen Louis this confident, he’s giving such different vibes, I can feel it’s gonna be a great album[crying emoji],” one wrote.
“That jump in the pool was so iconic,” another complimented, followed by a third admirer, “This era is so vibrant and full of confidence. And I love the weirdness of the video. I wouldn’t expect Louis to do this 5 years ago [crying and black heart emoji].”
A fourth fans gushed, “I’m obsessed how he’s taking the creative direction for this era.”
Lemonade is the lead single from Tomlinson’s upcoming album, How Did I Get Here? set to drop on January 23, 2026.
