Lily Allen makes candid confession about love after David Harbour divorce

Lily Allen’s heartbreaking divorce from David Harbour seems to have permanently altered her perspective on love.
The 40-year-old actress and singer, who just released her confessional album about the breakup, West End Girl, talked about the process of grieving the relationship that has ended, and starting over, in a new interview.
The Dallas Major hitmaker talked about the difficulties of putting herself out there in the dating pool with Interview Magazine, revealing that dating apps have been nothing but “awful” for her as a famous person.
“I’m not really looking to go out with another famous person,” Allen admitted, adding that even if she does go on “dates with other people, there’s a bit of a barrier.”
The Tennis songstress continued, “Especially if you’re going through heartbreak,” referring to her split from the Stranger Things star.
“There is nothing more depressing than hundreds of people that are nothing like the person that you’re missing. It’s just like, ‘No, that’s not him. That’s not him. That’s not him,’” she said.
Allen went on to share a misunderstanding that led to her being “banned from Hinge.” She explained that the app banned her for impersonating herself, adding, “I’m like, ‘I can prove that I’m that person.’ They’re like, ‘You’ll need to send us your ID.’ And I’m like, ‘Actually, my name and the name on my ID aren’t the same.’”
The mom of two confirmed that she is “not in a relationship” at present, even though “there are some people that I meet up with.”
Allen and her estranged husband took the vows in 2020 after being together for a year, but they called it quits last December after Harbour’s alleged affair, which she hints at on the album.
