Monsoon Alert: Light rain forecast for Karachi, Sindh remains hot
KARACHI – Light rain and scattered showers are expected in Karachi and some other areas of Sindh on Wednesday night and Thursday, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
A seasonal low-pressure system is active over northeast Balochistan, while strong monsoon winds are entering the upper parts of the country. A fresh westerly weather system is also affecting northern areas.
Because of these conditions, Karachi and nearby coastal areas may receive light rain or drizzle by Wednesday evening or night, along with gusty winds in southeastern Sindh.
On Thursday, most parts of Sindh will experience hot and humid weather. However, rain is likely at isolated spots in Tharparkar, Umerkot, Mirpurkhas, and Sanghar during the evening or night.

Karachi: Maximum temperature is expected between 31°C and 33°C on Thursday, and 30°C to 32°C on Friday.
