Lenny Kravitz finally brought his legendary stage presence to home.

Returning to his roots, the rocker made his first-ever performance on Bahamian soil on Friday night, October 24.

Kicking off the 4th annual Bahamas Culinary & Arts Festival, he delivered a fiery homecoming show.

It wasn’t just another gig but a full-circle moment for the Grammy-winning artist. “This is the first time we’re playing on home turf,” he told the concertgoers, carrying loads of emotions.

Kravitz, whose maternal grandfather was born in the Bahamas, treated the crowd of chefs, celebrities and adoring fans with electrifying renditions of his biggest hits, including Fly Away, It Ain’t Over ’til It’s Over, and Are You Gonna Go My Way.

“This is monumental for me,” he said during the Taste of Baha Mar welcome party.

For the 90-minute set that took place at Baha Mar in Nassau, the 61-year-old rocked a leather jacket, low-rise jeans and gold metallic top.

He accessorised the look with layers of necklaces and a pair of oversized sunglasses, which he kept on despite the concert taking place from 10:30 p.m. to midnight.

The star-studded audience includes, celebrity chefs Scott Conant, Amanda Freitag, Marcus Samuelsson, Geoffrey Zakarian and more sang and danced along to every song, while actress Tia Mowry was overheard excitedly gushing about meeting Kravitz after the show.
