Late Queen ‘deeply hurt’ with Prince Harry’s 2018 wedding behaviour

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot on May 19, 2018, at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.
But behind the scenes things were not as harmonious as they appeared.
According to royal biographer Ingrid Seward, the late Queen Elizabeth was ‘dismayed’ by her grandson’s behaviour both before and after the big day.
Seward alleges that Lady Elizabeth Anson, a close friend and cousin of the Queen , revealed the monarch was deeply troubled by Harry’s attitude during that period, DailyMail reports.
One heated exchange occurred after Meghan’s chosen tiara, the Queen Mary Diamond Bandeau was reserved exclusively for the wedding. Because of this, Meghan could not access the headpiece for a hair trial.
Reports claim the Queen disapproved Harry raising his voice at the Queen’s dresser, Angela Kelly, over the matter.
Another point of contention was Meghan’s decision to wear a white dress and veil. Since it was her second marriage, the traditional white code is typically reserved for brides marrying for the first time.
It is worth noting that Harry and the Queen once shared a beautiful bond- they were even spotted together at Invictus Games promo in 2016.
Unfortunately, their relationship began to fade after the couple announced to step away from royal life in 2020.
Lady Elizabeth Anson told Katie Nicholl: ‘Turning one’s back on duty is completely alien to the Queen and she has been left very hurt by it all.’
