Kristen Bell feels ‘the world has bigger issues’ than her anniversary post

Kristen Bell isn’t too worried after sparking backlash over her controversial 12th wedding anniversary tribute to husband Dax Shepard.
According to the Daily Mail, the Nobody Wants This actress is refusing to apologise despite mounting criticism for her now-viral Instagram post.
“She doesn’t want to be told how to live her life or be bullied into doing something she doesn’t want to do,” a source told the outlet, adding that “many would have liked her to apologise or to have taken down the post, but she hasn’t, and the post is still there.”
Bell, 45, reportedly feels that if people “aren’t going to laugh about it,” that’s on them.
“She feels that there are bigger issues in the world than what she said,” the insider claimed. “Given the chance to do it all over again, she would.”
Her husband, Dax Shepard, 50, is said to fully support her amid the controversy. “He thought the post was funny,” the source said.
The Frozen star faced intense backlash last weekend after joking in her anniversary post, “Happy 12th wedding anniversary to the man who once said to me: ‘I would never kill you… Even though I’m heavily incentivized to kill you, I never would.’”
Critics labelled the caption “tone-deaf,” especially since October marks Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The Good Place alum has since turned off comments on her social media post and skipped her TV appearance on Today. She broke cover on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, but she did not address the controversy.
