Kim Kardashian un apologetically shares photos of four puppies gifted to her kids weeks after PETA criticism

Kim Kardashian has shared another look at the four puppies she gifted her children for Christmas, weeks after drawing criticism from animal rights activists.
On March 6, the reality star posted two photos on Instagram showing the family’s Pomeranian puppies—the same images she first shared on Christmas Day—writing, “Welcome to the fam.”
The pictures show four small dogs, including two with dark fur, one cream-coloured, and one with sable fur. Kardashian previously revealed on Instagram Stories that each of her four children, whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye West, received a puppy as a gift.
In January, she also posted clips of her children playing with the dogs at home. In one video, a puppy licked her hand as one of the children said off-camera, “Mommy, look, it licks me.” Another clip showed Chicago hugging and kissing one of the dogs while chasing it around the living room with Psalm.
The Christmas gift sparked backlash from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, whose founder, Ingrid Newkirk, criticised the move.
“Puppies are not plushies,” Newkirk said in a statement, adding that Kardashian could have used her platform to promote adopting animals from shelters.
She also suggested Kardashian and her sister Khloé Kardashian, who also reportedly gifted a dog to her family, consider supporting local shelters or adoption initiatives in the future.
The Kardashian-Jenner family has long been known for having numerous pets. Kardashian and her children have previously shared photos of their bearded dragon named Speed, while the family also owns several other Pomeranians, including one named Sushi.
