Kevin Federline makes creepy claims against ex Britney Spears

Kevin Federline has made shocking claims about his ex-wife Britney Spears in his upcoming memoir, You Thought You Knew, alleging that the pop star once watched their sons sleep while holding a knife.
The book, which will be released on Oct. 21, was excerpted by The New York Times and details a series of troubling incidents from their years together.
According to Federline, 47, the knife episodes happened more than once.
“They would awaken sometimes at night to find her standing silently in the doorway, watching them sleep, ‘Oh, you’re awake?’, with a knife in her hand,” he reportedly writes.
“Then she’d turn around and pad off without explanation.”
Federline and Spears, 43, were married from 2004 to 2007 and share two sons, Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19.
Their split led to a highly publicized custody battle, and although Spears has expressed her love for her children over the years, their relationship has remained strained.
In June, Spears posted a picture with Jayden on Instagram, hinting at a possible reunion. In a 2023 interview with PEOPLE, she described becoming a mother as a “dream come true.” But her sons have also been open about the challenges in their relationship.
Jayden spoke to The Daily Mail in 2022, saying he “100 percent think[s]” things with his mom can be “fixed.” He explained, “It’s just going to take a lot of time and effort. I just want her to get better mentally. When she gets better I really want to see her again.”
Jayden also revealed that tensions grew when Spears shared photos of him online despite being asked not to.
“My brother had asked her not to post his photos, and she did it anyway,” he said, adding that it “didn’t go well.”
That same year, Federline told The Daily Mail that their sons had “made the decision” not to attend Spears’ June 2022 wedding to Sam Asghari.
Spears and Asghari have since divorced.
In another excerpt from his book, Federline writes about his fears for Spears’ wellbeing, saying he worries she is “racing toward something irreversible.”
He reportedly adds, “It’s become impossible to pretend everything’s OK. From where I sit, the clock is ticking, and we’re getting close to the 11th hour. Something bad is going to happen if things don’t change, and my biggest fear is that our sons will be left holding the pieces.”
You Thought You Knew will be released on Oct. 21, offering Federline’s account of his marriage, fatherhood, and ongoing concern for the pop icon’s wellbeing.
