Kelly Clarkson shares sweet outing with kids after Brandon Blackstock death

Kelly Clarkson is spending some quality time with her kids.
The 43-year-old singer took to her Instagram account on November 30 to share a rare snap with her kids: son Remington “Remy” Alexander, 9, and daughter River Rose, 11, doing some winter activity.
In the candid post, the proud mom, along with her two kids, can be seen enjoying “Ice skating” at The Rink at Rockefeller Center.
“Ice skating at 30 Rock with the family,” she captioned the photo with a check mark emoji.
The snap featured Kelly, Remy and River Rose and the TV host’s unknown friend all wearing the skating gear on the icy floor.
This came after Kelly confessed a hard truth she shared with her daughter during an episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show back in October.
“I look at my daughter constantly and I’m just like, ‘Look, I’m trying my best,'” she said at the time. “I know you’re gonna end up in therapy one day. I don’t know what for, but I’m trying my best to limit it. Just like, help out.”
It is pertinent to mention that Kelly shares her kids with late ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, who passed due to cancer back in August. He was 48.
After her ex husband’s death, a source told People that Kelly was devastated for her kid’s loss.
“Kelly and Brandon had their ups and downs, but at the end of the day, he was the father of her children and she is absolutely heartbroken for them,” the insider revealed at the time.
