Katy Perry finds new partner to date after Orlando Bloom split: Guess who?

Katy Perry was spotted enjoying an intimate dinner with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau — a pairing no one saw coming.

The duo were seen Monday night at the upscale Le Violon in Montreal, where they appeared deep in conversation over cocktails and shared dishes, including one featuring lobster. 

Perry leaned in attentively as Trudeau spoke, clearly engrossed in the exchange.

Security detail for both stars remained close, subtly monitoring the scene from the bar, using mirrored glass to keep tabs without drawing attention. 

At one point during their cozy dinner, the chef of Le Violon came out to greet Katy and Justin and in a classy move, the pair later headed into the kitchen to personally thank the staff after their meal.

The singer is currently making her way across Canada on tour, with a stop in Ottawa tonight and another show scheduled back in Montreal tomorrow. 

She has been embracing single life following her split from Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares a daughter. 

“Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting,” their reps shared. 

“They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is – and always will be – raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect.”

The duo first sparked romance rumors back in 2016 after hitting it off at a Golden Globes afterparty, and welcomed their daughter, Daisy Dove, in 2020. Bloom is also dad to 13-year-old Flynn, whom he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.

Trudeau, for his part, separated from wife Sophie in 2023 after 18 years of marriage.
