After undergoing a Botox treatment, Katie took to her Snapchat to reveal a series of unexpected ‘humps’ that appeared on her forehead.
Sharing a close-up selfie, Katie captioned the image: ‘I have got HUMPS on my forehead.,’ highlighting the unusual bumps that had formed following the injection.
Prior to the procedure, she posted a video marking the injection sites on her face, stating :’ I have gone from this.’
Later, she updated her followers with another video, saying,’ At the moment, it looks like I have got humps on my face, my lovely lady lumps,’ while playing the Black Eyed Peas hit, My Humps, in the background.’
Medical professionals note that small bumps are a common reaction to Botox due to the needling process. These bumps are typically red and may bleed slightly but usually resolve within 15 minutes to 30 minutes.
However, in rare cases, they can indicate an allergic reaction or infection.
This incident adds to a series of health concerns Katie has been facing.
She has reported unexplained weight loss over the past year and has undergone multiple medical tests. Additionally, she recently travelled to Istanbul for her sixth facelift, a procedure she had previously undergone last year.
