Kashmir Youm-e-Istehsal being observed worldwide

ISLAMABAD: Today marks the observance of Kashmir Youm-e-Istehsal (Exploitation Day) as Kashmiris around the world protest against the Indian government’s unilateral and unconstitutional move to revoke the special status of Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

It has been six years since the Modi-led government, on August 5, 2019, abrogated Articles 370 and 35A of the Indian Constitution—provisions that granted special autonomy to the region. Following the move, a lockdown and communications blackout were imposed in the valley, severely restricting civil liberties.

The move is widely regarded by Pakistan and Kashmiris as a blatant attempt to annex the region and suppress the rights of its people. Protests, rallies, and seminars are being held globally to condemn the ongoing human rights violations in the occupied territory.

Kashmiris living around the world are protesting all over the world over this unconstitutional and cruel move of the Indian government’s August 5, 2019. Today, both the Line of Control and Kashmiris around the world condemn the Indian move by organizing rallies and rallies against India.

Despite the passage of 6 years, the Kashmiri people have not acknowledged the decision today and today protests all over the world and expose India’s macro -faces to the whole world.

The people of Kashmir say that they will continue their struggle for independence till the complete independence of occupied Kashmir.

On the other hand, the all -party Hurriyat Conference today appealed to the world to celebrate Black Day, saying that a message will be conveyed to the world from Black Day that India has illegally occupied Kashmir.
