Khloé Kardashian has opened up about the family’s famous annual Christmas Eve party, revealing that the cost is “all equally split” among the Kardashian-Jenner clan.
The lavish event, which has welcomed celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Elon Musk, Paris Hilton, Dave Chappelle, John Legend, Alex Rodriguez, Tyler, The Creator, and Sean “Diddy” Combs over the years, rotates among family members’ homes. Last year’s celebration reportedly took place at Kendall Jenner’s $8.5 million Beverly Hills estate.
Khloé, 41, sat down with her mother Kris Jenner, 70 who started the tradition in 1978 to give fans an inside look at the festivities. Kris, then a Beverly Hills housewife married to future O.J. Simpson lawyer Robert Kardashian, hosted the annual party herself until her children grew older and the guest list ballooned to 200–300 people. At that point, hosting duties began rotating among the siblings.
“I thought it was so much more fun, and then every time one of you took the reins and did it yourself—” Kris said during the conversation on Khloé in Wonderland, before Khloé interjected.
“I won’t take the reins. I don’t want the reins. I don’t want that many people in my home, and this year I was very proud of you for saving me,” Khloé admitted.
The Kardashian-Jenners’ holiday tradition continues to draw A-list guests while remaining a family affair, with each member contributing to the festivities both financially and logistically.
