Karachi’s heatwave slows down as Sea Breeze returns
Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has reported that the sea breeze has partially returned to Karachi, bringing some relief from the intense heat.
As of now, the temperature in the city is recorded at 33°C, but it feels like 37°C due to high humidity. The humidity level in the air has reached 59%, contributing to the discomfort.
Winds are blowing from the southwest at a speed of 20 kilometers per hour, which is helping to slightly reduce the heat. According to the Met Office, temperatures are expected to gradually decrease starting tomorrow evening.
The return of sea winds is a welcome change for residents who have been facing extreme summer heat over the past few days.
