Karachi to receive rain as westerly system hits Sindh early April

Karachi is expected to see rainfall on April 2 and 3, as the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts an approaching westerly system that will bring showers to the city.

The Met Office’s latest forecast indicates that Karachi will remain partly cloudy with generally pleasant weather over the next three days.

According to the PMD, a strong westerly system is likely to affect the country starting April 1, with Sindh expected to experience rainfall from the same day.

The system may also bring strong winds and thunderstorms, though its exact intensity will become clearer as it approaches.

The weather department added that this system is expected to continue impacting the northern and other parts of the country until April 5.

During this period, Karachi may also feel the effects of the system, with rain likely later in the week.
