Karachi faces 39°C today, high humidity makes It feel hotter

According to the Metrological  Department, Karachi is expecting a hot day today.

The temperature could rise as high as 39 degrees Celsius, and the humidity in the air is quite high at 73 percent. This combination will make the heat feel much more intense for residents.

The lowest temperature recorded in Karachi today was 29.7 degrees Celsius. However, due to the high humidity level, people will feel the heat much more strongly. Even if the actual temperature isn’t at its peak, the sticky conditions will make it very uncomfortable.

The Meteorological  Department states that sea breezes are currently blowing across Karachi at a speed of 20 to 25 kilometers per hour. The sky is expected to remain completely clear throughout the day, offering no chance of rain.

The Meteorological Department has warned that this intense heat is likely to continue for the next three to four days. Residents should be prepared for consistently hot weather, as there’s no immediate change in conditions on the forecast.

With the high temperatures and significant humidity, it’s important for everyone in Karachi to take precautions. Make sure to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water, avoid being directly in the sun during the hottest parts of the day, and wear light clothes to help stay cool.
