Jonathan Majors tells NLE Choppa to ‘read the Bible again’ amid viral clash on faith

Jonathan Majors went viral after calmly correcting rapper NLE Choppa during a Den of Kings discussion on Christianity.

During the conversation, Choppa argued that Christians focus too much on Jesus rather than God. He argued, “We are made in the likeness of Jesus Christ,” and asked why people “praise their brother instead of their father.”

After this rejmark, Majors calmly interrupted him and asked, “Have you read the Bible?”

When Choppa replied, “I’ve read it, listened to it, and received from source,” Majors looked at him and responded, “I would say read it again.”

Majors’ short reply drew praise for its composure and clarity, leaving the room in awkward laughter as viewers online applauded his confident delivery.

Social media users reacted enthusiastically, calling the actor’s words one of the best comebacks they’d heard. Many noted that Majors’ response reflected a respectful but informed stance on faith and scripture.

The moment also revived interest in Choppa’s past remarks about Majors’ wife, Meagan Good. Months before the couple’s March 2025 wedding, Choppa had publicly admitted his crush on Good during The Jason Lee Show, calling her “someone I’ve been waiting on.” Good later responded, describing him as “a sweet young man” but “too young.”

Though the earlier exchange had faded from view, Choppa’s latest encounter with Majors reignited conversation around both faith and celebrity respect.
