Jenna Ortega rocks bleached eyebrows at ‘Wednesday’ Season 2 premiere in London
Jenna Ortega unveiled a striking new look at the London premiere of Wednesday season two on July 30.
The 22-year-old actress arrived on the red carpet with bleached eyebrows that matched her sheer, snakeskin-inspired dress by Ashi Studio, giving the illusion of having no eyebrows at all.
Standing beside her co-stars Catherine Zeta-Jones, Fred Armisen, and Emma Myers, Ortega completed the look with a maroon lip and her signature dark hair styled into a relaxed ponytail.
Her eyebrow transformation immediately drew attention, adding a Gothic edge to her already unconventional red carpet presence.
The new appearance aligns with her ongoing efforts to reflect the eerie tone of Wednesday, where she plays the iconic Addams family character.
“I definitely feel like I have a bit more Gothic taste than I did when I was a teenager,” Ortega told Harper’s Bazaar in May. “I’ve always been into dark things or been fascinated by them, but I was a Disney kid, and the whole thing is being bubbly and kind and overly sweet.”
Reflecting on the challenges of portraying a teenage character while in her twenties, Ortega added, “It’s like how you’re dressed in the schoolgirl costume. There’s just something about it that’s very patronising.”
