Florida: Blue Origin, the company of billionaire Jeff Bezos, the founder of the world-famous American e-commerce company Amazon, has sent its first rocket into space.
According to foreign media reports, the rocket was launched from Florida. The space mission, which has been delayed for many years, took off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in the US state of Florida at 2:30am on Thursday.
The aim of sending the space mission is to compete with Elon Musk’s SpaceX in the satellite business.
Blue Origin said the rocket’s engine reached its final orbit in the second stage.
The statement said that the blue ring prototype accompanying the rocket is receiving data and is performing well.
