Israeli Defense Firms Banned at Paris Air Show Over Offensive Weapons Display

Organizers of the Paris Air Show have banned several Israeli arms manufacturers from participating due to the display of “offensive weapons.”

According to international media reports, the stalls of Israeli companies — including Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), Rafael, and Elbit Systems — were covered with large black curtains at the event.

Reports state that organizers made the decision after discovering that the weapons showcased by these companies violated the air show’s rules and regulations.

It was also noted that some of these companies supply weapons to the Israeli military that are used in Gaza, such as advanced drone systems.

A senior official from Rafael expressed shock and disappointment over their stall being completely covered, saying they were not given any prior notice. The company has strongly protested the decision.

Israel’s Ministry of Defense criticized the move, calling it an example of “discrimination” against Israeli companies. In its statement, the ministry described the decision as shameful and unprecedented, claiming it was clearly driven by political and commercial motives.
