TEHRAN: Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has delegated authority over war-related matters to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Council.
According to Iranian media report, Ayatollah Khamenei remains in an underground bunker with his family, while full oversight and control of military operations have now been handed over to the IRGC.
With this shift, the IRGC has been granted complete authority over all decisions related to the ongoing conflict.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed direct targeting the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad and military intelligence agency centers in Tel Aviv.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump demanded Iran unconditionally surrender, saying he knew where the Iranian Supreme Leader was hiding.
“We are not going to kill the Iranian Supreme Leader at least at this time, but we do not want to miss missiles on civilians or US troops, our patience is responding,” Trump said.
The Israeli Defence Minister, on the other hand, also threatened to target Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, saying that Khamenei could be the same as former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.
It should be noted that the Iranian Revolutionary’s Aerospace Force announced the use of modern drones against Israel.
These modern drones, called Shahid 107, will be used by the Aerospace Force of the IRGC for suicide attacks on Israeli targets.
These drones have installed an engine that can allow them to fly up to 1500 km away.
