Iranian President to begin two-day official visit to Pakistan today

ISLAMABAD: Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian will undertake a two-day official visit to Pakistan starting on Saturday.

According to a statement from the Foreign Office spokesperson, visit is being made at the invitation of the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

President Pezeshkian will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi.

During his stay, the Iranian President is scheduled to hold meetings with the President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the spokesperson added.

Iranian President will discuss delegation level with Prime Minister. This will be the first visit of Iranian President to Pakistan.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif visited Iran on May 26, 2025.

Foreign Office spokesperson said Iranian President’s visit will further strengthen bilateral brotherly relations.
