Iran Fires Ballistic Missiles at Israel After Tehran Strikes

In response to an attack on its capital Tehran, Iran has launched ballistic missiles at Israel, resulting in explosions in Tel Aviv.

Following the missile launches from Iran, sirens were heard across northern and central Israel. The Israeli military has instructed citizens to take shelter. According to Israeli forces, the country’s air defense system is actively working to intercept the advanced Iranian missiles.

The Israeli government has extended the state of emergency in the country until June 30.

Earlier, Israel had targeted multiple sites in Iran’s capital, Tehran. The Israeli military claimed that 170 Iranian military targets were hit using 50 aircraft. The strikes focused on positions linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Iran’s defense systems in Tehran.

According to Arab media, explosions occurred near the Iranian parliament building in central Tehran, causing fires. Blasts were also reported in areas near Taleghani Street and Valiasr Square.

Arab media further reported that an Israeli drone attack on a police headquarters in Tehran left several people injured.

Following the Israeli strikes, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian warned that if the attacks continue, Iran’s response will be extremely powerful and decisive.
