Dhaka: The six-match white-ball series between India and Bangladesh, scheduled to commence on August 17, has been postponed until next year.
According to a joint statement from both cricket boards, the three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three T20 matches will now take place in 2026.
The statement mentioned that this decision was made considering mutual consultation and the global cricket schedule. The Bangladesh Cricket Board also indicated that they are hopeful for a tour of India in September 2026, and the final match schedule will be announced later.
The tour is expected to take place after Bangladesh’s general elections in early 2026.
